A little bit of nature...

This past weekend I took some time to enjoy a little nature photography, compliments of my mother's beautiful flower gardens. We were waiting at my parents house to go see some fireworks and so we were there pretty late which meant getting to play with the best light. Usually when I am there during this time of day with my camera it's to do sessions, so I am never really just sitting out amongst the birds and flowers enjoying it all through my lens. Anyway, for anyone that knows my parents, you know my mom has beautiful, and I mean beautiful flower gardens. It was nice to just sit out in the yard quietly and observe nature. As I opened up the pictures from the evening, I kinda had to chuckle a little. I guess my style even comes through in nature photos...LOL. :)

I love the haze created on this one from playing with the evening light.

This one is so cute, the bottom bird is peering up at the top bird. They walked all the way down the fence post together till they both noticed me and flew off. But I got quite a few clicks of the shutter in first ;)

Even was visited by a little yellow Finch.

Just some vines from the garden I liked.

The Blue Jays are usually really hard for me to capture. But this particular night they obliged me. I was hiding behind a tree on this one and this little guy jumped up on this piece of wood, He looked to the side, then at me. I got 2 shots in exactly...here they are. I was pretty lucky to be that close to him :)

So, something a little different this time. Hope you enjoyed the pics.
Till next time...
