Sweet Baby "E" {Mid Michigan Newborn Photographer}

One thing I absolutely love about my job is the connections I build with my clients. I have always said it is so much more than just a client relationship, but rather a friendship that has been formed. I have been photographing this family for several years and it's been my pleasure to watch their children grow but this time it was my honor to welcome their newest addition.
So, before vacation I got to meet their little man, and I must say, he was a complete dream to photograph. He was just 7 days old, so very tiny and just perfect!! Thank you for letting me capture this very special time in your life!!

Love this one with big sis...

One of my faves with baby and mommy :)
Isn't this hat adorable :)
When it was time to leave I knew they would be giving baby a bath. I always recommend this because the baby is on so many new fabrics and textures. So for this shoot, I decided to stick around and capture the first bath for them. I know I would have loved to have these photos taken for my babies, so I was thankful I could be there to do this for them :) Here is just one from baby's first bath :)

Happy New Year~{Mid Michigan Newborn Photographer}

So here we are, the last post of 2010!! I can't believe we are already saying goodbye to another year, it sure went fast, but it was a year of blessings and I am thankful for them all!! So, as we enter a fresh new year I can't think of anything better to post about than a newborn baby :) Ella was one of my last sessions of 2010 and she couldn't be more perfect to share in this New Year's post. But before we get onto the little sneak peek I do want to say another thank you for blessing my life and my business in 2010. 2010 was a wonderful year for Hayley Hamlin Photography and I look forward to what 2011 brings. I have set many goals for the next 2 years of my business and I am excited to see what 2011 has in store for me. Many of you may not know this but 2011 is also a huge milestone for my business as it marks 5 years of being in business. Who would have known that a little over 7 years ago when I was expecting my first child and my husband came home with a little Sony point and shoot for me so I would have something to take pictures with I would end up here? I immediately fell in love with photography and a few years (and cameras~ha ha) later, well....the rest is history. I truly am blessed to do what I love!!
And as for new year's resolutions, well, I am not much about making them, but I do know one thing about the next year I will be much better at and that is blogging!! I promise :) I think I only blogged about a quarter of the sessions I did in 2010 but I will continue to feature those sessions through the winter months to try to catch up. Again, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me capture your heart and soul moments!! I wish you all a very Happy New Year and I look forward to making new memories in 2011 and continuing in the memories of the many clients I've met since beginning this journey. God Bless!!

And now, the beautiful and sweet, Miss Ella :)

In this first photo Ella is wearing a beautiful Tutu and headband from Stone Soup Gifts & Home Accessories, located in Downtown Mt. Pleasant.

Love it when they smile, even better when you are lucky enough to catch it :)

This antique scale was a find at "Treasures" located in Downtown Alma :)

Sneak Peek Baby "L" {Michigan Newborn Photographer}

Valentines day is tomorrow and I can't think of anything better to post about than the love of your first child. Such an amazing time in a parents life. I am truly blessed to be apart of these moments. I had such an amazing time with this little guy and his family. He was such a good baby, never fussed once while I was there and slept like a champ. I knew when I was taking these cocoon shots they would be my faves...and they are :) He loved to be snuggled in them...he was happy...I was happy, and it made it SO very hard to choose which ones to show!!

The one in the cocoon in the wire basket is another fave of mine, but I am going to save that one for it's own separate post later :) I'll load some to facebook for you as soon as I get a chance :) Thank you again for letting me capture your little guy in his first week of life!! He is precious as can be!!

Featured Session {Michigan Newborn Photographer}

I first showed you this little man quite awhile ago, he was the beautiful baby in the antique bowl. Now you are going to get to see a lot more of him as he is my featured session. This little guy was a dream to photograph. Recently you have probably been hearing me go on and on about this gorgeous antique trencher, well this is the person I have been thanking for it :) So...last week I went back to get a couple pics of her little man in it. Even at almost 2 months old he was a dream baby for me. Let me pose him in the trencher and slept right through it :) Most of these are from the newborn session, but I did sneak in 1 of him in the trencher :)
So since I couldn't pick just few to show...here is a featured slide show of this session as well. Enjoy!! :)

Please remember to TURN OFF THE MAIN BLOG MUSIC before viewing. Blog music is located at the bottom of the blog. :)

And onto some pics :)

The antique trencher and little man "R" at almost 2 months :)

And got to meet up with my buddy "K" again for a few. "K" is Baby "R's" big brother and he is such a sweetie pie :)

Had to add just 1 of "K" by himself...isn't he adorable!!

Till next time :)

Little Man "R" (Michigan Baby Photogapher}

A while back I got an email that was pretty exciting. This little man's mommy contacted me from out of state to book a session with me while she was here visiting family. I am pretty honored to be the photographer that she chose to photograph her little man! I am glad you found me "L" and it was my pleasure to spend time with you, your mom, and your little guy. I will have much more to share from your session in a larger sneak peek soon, but I wanted to get 1 up for you to see while you are still here visiting. You have a beautiful little boy and he was just perfect for our session. Thank you for allowing me to capture him for you!! Have a safe trip back :)

Also...I wanted to give a shout out to K.P....you know who you are :) A HUGE thank you for the antique trencher!! It is perfect and I absolutely LOVE it. Can't wait to get your little guy in it on Monday...see you then!! :)

Happy Mothers Day :) {Michigan Photographer}

Hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. This is a short Mother's Day video of some of the mother/child moments I've had the privilege to capture. Unfortunately I couldn't include everyone (as much as I would have loved to), but thank you to all the families who have let me in their lives to witness these moments of such love and emotion.
Hope you have a great weekend!!

Last week I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting the "P" family. They have 2 beautiful children that was a complete joy to photograph. This session was mainly for Baby "S", but we snuck in a few of big sis too :)

Thank you again for having me and letting me share in your lives, it was my complete honor!!

I told mom I had to get some of her and baby together because she was so beautiful :) I love these. The love between a mother and child...

And even at 9 weeks she curled for me...how lucky did I get!!

And had to sneak in a couple of big sis in this post :) Every little girl should have a place like this to go and read her favorite book :)

Hope you enjoyed your pics :)

Spring Specials-For All :) {Michigan Photographer}

As promised...I have lots of new spring specials for you all :)
First off is for seniors :) I have to say after last month's senior special I wasn't sure how I'd be able to top that. But I must say these are pretty cool, and I really think you are going to like them. These are Senior Buzz Cards. They come in 6 different styles and basically it's like your own personal business card. They are printed front and back on heavy card stock paper and you can get them in either a gloss finish or a cool pearl finish. They have your name, email, phone, you can even add things like your facebook page on there if you like. They are completely personalized for you!! You get 90 of them to hand out to your friends and family :) And here's the best part. If you Pre-Book in April to have your senior portraits done with Hayley Hamlin Photography you get a set of 90 for Free!! All you have to do to lock in this special is set your session date and pay your session fee. So...don't delay on this great offer!!

Okay, next we are on to regular sessions. I have found that the Mini brag books are a customer favorite around here. What better way to top off a Spring Special than to add the awesome DVD's with it!! So for those of you who book in April and complete your session in April or May you can purchase a DVD and a mini brag book for $195.00 (min purchase also required). For complete details on the special you can email me or give me a call.
If you would like to see samples of the videos you can view them at the top of my blog. Please remember to turn main blog music off first. Or if you'd like to see a further collection of videos, come join me on my facebook page :) Just type in Hayley Hamlin or Hayley Hamlin Photography.

And last but not least, the Bucket Tote is on sale for the months of April and May. And....I have to give a shout out to J & A for being my models for this particular bag :) This bag just came in and is on it's way to their mommy...who I know is anxiously awaiting it. I am telling you this bag is beautiful. It holds a lot and you will get tons of compliments on it!! If you would like more details on pricing, size, or if you have any questions, just give me a holler. :)

Okay...that's all I've got for you. I hope you are having a great week. :) If you have any questions, you can email me at hayleyjhamlin@hotmail.com
