Featured Senior ~ Kara {Mid Michigan Senior Photographer}

Next up is Kara from Fowler High School. Kara met up with me here in Alma and we did some at my loft and also made our way to the Saravilla Bed and Breakfast. If you have not ever been there... you need to check it out. Very beautiful!!

I was thrilled that they selected this first photo as one of thier faves. Sometimes when I take shots like this I know the chances of them being selected are a bit more slim but I loved it and was hoping they did too. It was one of their faves. I just love that it's a "moment", nothing posed about it, I just caught her looking at something.

This next one is my very fave of the whole session. Love it so much!

Featured Senior ~ Alyssa ~ AHS {Mid Michigan Senior Photographer}

Alyssa is so beautiful yet as you can see from that volleyball pic you probably aren't going to want to be on the receiving end of that coming at ya :) I love that volleyball photo, turned out perfect!

But this first one... absolutely love! The little pop of yellow and her beauty just gorg!

Alyssa plays Varsity Volleyball for Alma High School.

Love this one too... oh who am I kidding, I love them all ;)

We ended the session at the wheat field. Actually was able to do quite a few senior sessions this year in the wheat...

And last, I am sharing a sample 10x20 storyboard I did of her session because it's one of my faves of the year. I love how the background photo works perfect in this set.

Featured Senior ~ Kailyn ~ Class of 2012 {Mid Michigan Senior Photographer}

Meet the ever so beautiful and timeless Kailyn from St.Louis High School. I have the plesure of knowing Kailyn through our local dance studio so I was very excited when she called to book her senior pics through me because I know some dance art was going to be made as well. But truly she is just beautiful inside and out and I had an amazing time with her this summer. Her session was in June, I know I playing major catch up on the blog... but I will get there :)


These first two are part of the "summer" series. We are doing a mini session for each season for her senior year and then compiling a seasons collage. I am excited to see the result when the first shot for summer starts like this :)




LOVE this dance shot!! Just stunning!

This is one of my faves, but was really hoping Kathy didn't kill me for letting her sit on the ballet bar :)

This shot was taken to create an art piece as well as be used for her storybook and a senior collage.

Well, I have to say as much as I love the photos from this series, it makes me sad. She was my last senior to be photographed at this location before they tore it down this summer. Bums me out when I loose awesome locations :(

And this last one is from my loft. I really, like really <3 the light in my loft ;)

And last, Kailyn loves to read and I wanted to capture that about her. This is outside my loft, actually it's outside the Zebra Zalon (they are under me). I think they area probably sick of seeing me outside their door by now. It's been a busy busy summer and they have a nice brick wall and this little nook I like to use :)

Lindsay & Aaron Engaged {Mid Michigan Wedding Photographer}

I really need a new blog, I am telling ya. The main reason I do not blog that much is I absolutely do not have time to change the code of all these photos to resize them every time I blog a session. This post I am sharing a lot of pics, so sadly... not going to happen with the resizing. But on my list of things to do... is a new blog, so hopefully that will be fixed soon enough :) And I know most people are following on facebook these days and I wonder how many actually follow the blog.... But for those that do, I will keep posting :)

So this past summer I met up with Linsday and Aaron in Bay City. I have to be honest this was my first trip to Bay City and I fell in love instantly. I could shoot in the downtown area all day, and then add the beaches to that as well... made for some fun for sure!! They have a December 2011 wedding planned in Bay City and I am looking forward to it!!

Now, onto the photos :)
