Senior Sneak Peek {Michigan Senior Photographer}

I know mom is anxiously awaiting this sneak peek of "R". So I will not keep you in suspense any longer :)
This summer I am getting to meet seniors from all over Mid Michigan and we are having a blast!! When I found out "R" wanted a few shots with his car, I knew right where I wanted to do those shots. Love how it turned out :)

He also plays basketball and I have to say...this is another fave for me :)

Oh goodness, we laughed a lot. It was a fun session!! :)

Sneak Peek S&B {Michigan Wedding Photographer}

This time S&B...I promise it's more than a teaser :)
These guys were great and for this wedding we had two wonderful settings to work with. The wedding was at a lake, but then after the wedding we headed downtown for some fun urban shots. So you'll get a little of everything here :)

First off...here is one of my faves of the bride getting ready.

Their daughter played for the wedding.

I know this will come as no surprise...this shot is one of my very faves. Love it!!

And then we are off to the fun downtown. I posted a couple from this grouping in the teaser, but here's one more fun one for ya :)

A little Fashion for your Wednesday :) {Michigan Photographer}

I hope you don't kill me Kammi for posting these first...LOL. But my goodness, how smokin are these!!
I recently did a session for "K"'s daughter and of course I always tell the parents to dress to be in pics too because you never know when I am going to sneak in some interaction shots. Never want to miss those moments. Now...I promise most of the session was focused on her daughter, but there happened to be this old truck at the location we used and I am telling you, you should have seen me, like a kid in a candy store. Especially when you have a gorgeous model!! And since senior season is in full swing right now and this is very much in accordance with my senior style, I told her I'll be posting these soon :)
Kammila is Owner and Stylist of the Purple Pear Salon right here in our very own downtown. Stop in and see her to get your awesome style :) She has a gorgeous Salon, I love to borrow props from their...yep you guessed it, that's where the cool chair is from ;)
Okay, I am rambling again...LOL. I will post more soon of your beautiful daughter!! Thanks for spending the evening with me and trooping through the humidity and the rain. Yup...we even played a bit in the sprinkles of rain (camera rain gear works awesome by the way!!).

I must say...you rocked these Kammi :)

Oh...yes we did, had to have a few of both of them together. Can't wait to show you all the ones of her beautiful daughter by her self :) So stay tuned!!

J & H Senior Sneak Peek {Michigan Senior Photographer}

Meet "J" and "H", 2 recent seniors that I had the pleasure of hanging out with. They did their senior session together and so it was double the fun and yes...we had a blast :) We went ALL over the place and in the process I got to listen to some cool music from "H". She plays all kinds of instruments, these pics only reflect a few of them.

Congrats S&B {Michigan Wedding Photographer}

I can't even call this a sneak peek, it's more like a teaser...
I know this is awful of me to tease you guys with only a couple images, but I thought this was better than none ;) And since we had SO much fun doing this, you had to know I'd show this first. I was only going to show 1 image, but honestly, even though it's the same thing we are doing here, I couldn't pick 1 over the other. I loved both of these for different reasons. Love the bride's jump in the first one, and the groom as well as the rest of the groomsmen are rockin' the second one ;)

Dancing with the Light-Sneak Peek-B&E {Michigan Child Photographer}

I get the title for my post from the first 2 images, but honestly the whole post would pertain. My camera lens danced with the evening light throughout the whole session and it was very happy :) It was a perfect evening, a bit windy, but other than that not too hot, not too cold and again, did I mention the light...LOL. And of course I got to spend time with some beautiful children who have become very special to me. You will recognize them right away, they have graced my blog and website many times before. I have had the complete joy and pleasure of watching them grow before my very eyes.

Okay, enough of my ramblings...and onto some gorgeous images.

This first one takes my breath away. Makes me want to be there with her dancing in the light without a care in the world.

And for you color fans :)

Love how the light creates the mood in this one. A young child discovering a new toy, which he loved by the way :) I've been waiting to use this new "find", this was a perfect session for it :)

Don't ya love how he is hamming it up for me. A little model he is :)

Another of my faves, like I could really pick....glad I don't have too...LOL.

What do you see Miss "E" up in those clouds? I don't know but you sure are beautiful!!

And this is the one I posted a few days ago in color. Here it is in B&W. :)

And oh...how I want to keep this chair...LOL. Love the contrast of the black chair in this beautiful light, of course Miss "E" being so beautiful doesn't hurt ;)

And 1 more. And yes you see this pathway used often with me. It's perfect for shots like this and this is a shot we have been waiting to do with these 2 :) This should make mom very happy ;)

A Milestone to Celebrate-Sneak Peek "L" Family

Recently I was contacted about doing an Anniversary Session to celebrate the milestone of this lovely couples 40th wedding anniversary. The kids had gotten together and bought a session from me for their parents. Truly...this couple was some of the nicest people I have ever met and add in some fun things like a cabin in the woods, a pretty hot looking car, and let's just say we had some fun ;). So the session came and although it was a bit windy, we enjoyed a lovely evening where we talked about all kinds of things. I met 2 people who are very much in love, who love their family, love God, and to be honest, just simply love and enjoy life. I was honored to be apart of this wonderful milestone in their marriage. I had a wonderful evening with you both, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!! :) May God continue to bless your marriage!!

I told ya, pretty cool car huh!! And we even drew a little audience while taking these downtown.

I loved both of these from the pathway walk. Couldn't decide which I loved more, so I am posting them both :) Love the old overhanging tree in the background. It has such strength and it really is perfect for this wonderful milestone in their marriage.

I am looking for a chair like this :)

I am so far behind in blogging sessions, that today you actually get 2 posts...LOL. So, this chair you see here, I LOVE!! I keep borrowing it from a friend for sessions because I can't find my own. I've been to antique stores, garage sales, you name it...just can't find one like this. So anyway, I thought I'd post it here and if you or anyone you know ever sees one like it, send them my way :) I just really love the style of it, no specific colors in mind.
