Baby "M" 7 days old

I can't think of a better way to start off the New Year than with a newborn post. Meet Baby "M", I had the honor of photographing her yesterday at just 7 days old.

I loved her room, so beautiful. Pink and girly...but you know me I loved this in B&W too, so you get to see it both ways :)

So tiny...so fresh...so new....absolutely beautiful!!

Such tiny little toes...gotta love them.

And the new mom...she was Beautiful (couldn't even tell she gave birth), anyway, had to get a few of them together in the nursery.
I adore the look of love between mom and baby here.

I loved how the fur in the basket took the shape of a heart in this one. And the hat...so cute!!

"J" thank you again for allowing me to capture your new baby, she is absolutely beautiful!! And "T" thanks for the help...you may have found yourself a new job ;)
Happy New Year everyone. May 2009 be full of blessings!!
Much love,
Hayley

Merry Christmas

Hard to believe the holidays are already upon us. It's been a wonderful year of getting to know new families and of course being blessed to watch returning clients grow right before my eyes. Some have become so close they feel like my own family as I watch their children grow from milestone to milestone. What a privilege it is for me to capture these memories for you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart to be able to do so. I look forward to a new year that will be full of new and different blessings. Thank you and I truly wish you all a Holiday Season filled with Magic!!

And as you celebrate this special time of year...I pray that the true meaning of CHRISTmas be with you.

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace".

~NEW~

This past week I was very blessed to be able to photograph 2 different newborns that were born within a week of each other. This seems to be that time of year when I do photograph more newborns and babies...and I really love it!! To see a new baby cuddled up sleeping so peacefully...and be able to capture that...just beautiful.

The first shots are of Baby "E", (9 days old)

And you just can't help but focus on their precious little hands or feet :)

And meet Baby "L" (17days old). She was passed that "2 week mark" so it was a bit more challenging to get her to sleep, but the few minutes she did sleep made it all worth it :)

Look at the head of hair on her...isn't it gorgeous!!

Her little feet...so precious!!

First attempt at a wrap, she was awake so getting her to actually stay in it was a bit of a challenge....note to self, have baby in a deep sleep before attempting this ;)

Snow Day...

We got a fresh blanket of snow last night, and boy was it beautiful to wake up to. :)

A lonely brightly colored leaf was laying in the fresh fallen snow and it looked so beautiful contrasted against the white. The changing of seasons right there before your eyes. Of course I know with this texture on it you'd never know it's laying in snow, but I loved the way it turned out regardless.

For those of you from my neck of the woods, hope you are enjoying your "snow day"
till next time...
