Honorable Mention

So last month the photo contest that I enter (BP) started a cash prize contest. I thought what the heck I'd give it a try once. Well much to my suprise one of my latest newborn pics received honorable mention in the contest. They only pic 3 winners, and they never mentioned anything beyond that so to find out I recieved honorable mention was pretty cool too.

Tis the season for sickness!!

Well my family has been hit with some fun stuff lately...NOT!! My kiddos have had this bronchial chest cough and cold going on and thankfully are just about over it but of course at the tale end Mom gets sick with thier lovely colds. I didn't get their cough just the sinus head cold stuff. Well if that was not enough, I got the flu bug too that is going around!! I can't remember the last time I was so sick...so I apologize if you are trying to get ahold of me I will return all phone calls and emails as soon as I can!!

A peek into their life...

I simply love my job....
There is nothing better than to be able to capture the moments that people will cherish forever, I am so thankful that I am able to do this for a living!! In this case...to be able to step back and be a quiet observer of some of the greatest moments between a parent and a child.



These were taken just before I left that day, there was very little light left but I wanted to capture this moment of Mom putting her Son down for bed, and so they are quite grainy and the light is dramatic...but I think that is what makes them perfect...


Yes...I love my job!!

B & E Sneak Peek

Had a fun session yesterday with 2 fantastic kids and thier wonderful family!! In the living room area there were floor length windows and so it allowed for some awesome silhouette shots of the kids. The little one is discovering some airplanes and isn't the little girl just too cute practicing her dance moves :) So I had to share just a quick sneak peek, enjoy!!

Newborns Newborns :)

This is the second newborn from my special. I swear there is nothing more peaceful than watching a newborn sleep!! Isn't she precious!! This first shot was set up more for what I knew I wanted to do with it in the post processing stages. I knew I wanted it to have a vintage look. She just looks so beautiful and peaceful...I simply adore it :)

And sweet little "A" was a little older so we got a few shots of her awake too :)
