time passes by...far too quickly

Can you "feel" this image? I took my kids to the park today and as I was watching my daughter swing and my son pushing the swings back and forth I saw this image and hoped it would turn out as I was seeing it in my head. Sometimes how you see things and how they turn out are not the same...but this, yes, this is exactly what I was hoping for and then some. This image to me is very powerful because it's about how time passes so quickly, our kids grow so fast and these moments come and they go...
Don't let these moments pass you by, take the time to capture your children's moments. The smiles, the tears, the laughter, the joy...everything about being a child. Freeze them in time...and what better way to do this than with a picture.

BetterPhoto contest :)

I have not posted anything about the photo contest I enter (Betterphoto) in the last few months so I thought I'd post since February's finalist were just announced and some of my clients beautiful babies were among them :) This month I was honored with 3 finalist, which is the most I've ever gotten in 1 month, so it was very exciting!! I was picked in 3 different categories.

The first is titled "held" and was selected in the people category...

The second finalist is titled "pure love" and was selected as part of the monthly theme which last month was sisterhood. I adore this image of these 2 sisters, it is such a touching image!!

The 3rd image is one I took last summer at out local air show and is titled "vintage flyer" is was selected in the catch-all category.

I've also added my January finalist, which went on to get a 2nd place winner titled "reflections".

Congrats to all the beautiful babies who were finalist the past few months!!
