News, Updates, and Deadlines!!!

Okay lots of information for you :)
First off SENIORS....I need Yearbook photo information from anyone who has not already given me the date and requirements of your school. Please contact me ASAP with this information. You can email me at hayleyjhamlin@hotmail.com or call me. Please keep in mind you need to allow 3-4 weeks to process your order, so if you are needing your yearbook photo sooner we need to make arrangements to add it on to another order I am placing to my lab.
Also just a note, I have updated my Senior Gallery on my website, so those of you who have gotten senior pics taken lately you are now on my website!! There were so many photos I loved of each of you it was so hard to pick...thank you all for allowing me to capture your senior pics for you!! Here is the link if you want to check it out... http://www.hayleyhamlin.com/

I will also be announcing Christmas Mini Sessions soon. More details to come on those.

Deadline Information: If you want Photo Jewelry in time for Christmas, it must be ordered by November 10th. The photo jewelry is all hand made and being that this is a busy time of year I need to give myself plenty of turn around time on jewelry.

More "I" and "W"

As promised...here are more of these 2 little cutie pies!! Oh my we had so much fun in this fountain!! This thing was SO cool, it is one of those huge water fountains that squirt water sporadically and the kids LOVED it!! I could have watched them all day, it was too fun!! It was a bit difficult getting shots without a lot of stuff in the background though, I swear it was a photographers dream location there and there were quite a few photogs there doing sessions. (but out of my normal area...so bummer I can't use this are more).

I know another back shot...but I could not help it...this is SO cute of him looking where the water comes out, kinda surprised he didn't get a spray of water...he got lucky :)

Okay...are you sure about this? I know that is what the older one is thinking, but by the end, he was drenched and having a ball!!

And a few more from the beautiful park...aren't these kids adorable!! :)

Hope you enjoyed :) I will be in contact when your proofs are ready :) Thanks again!!

1 already....

It has been awhile since I have posted any children sessions. I was so happy to be able to do this session, I photographed this little guy at 6 months and he just turned a year old and so it was time once again to do some pictures :) This time his cousin came with him and so we did a double session, which was fun !! :)
I had hoped to post some sneak peeks sooner but life threw me a curve ball over the weekend and so I am now quite a bit behind with things.
The ones I have chose to show are ones that tug at my heart....I know there are no face shots, I promise next time I post some sneaks for you, you will be able to see your beautiful children's
faces...but for today here a few that, to me, are the ones that move you with out saying a word.
Thanks again for allowing me to capture these monents for you...it has been such a joy to see how much "I" has grown up in the past 6 months!! Time sure does fly!!

I call this one "The Keeper"

This one is complete joy from this little boy!! He was having so much fun in the fountain...
1 red balloon for a special little 1 year old :)

Until next time...hug your kids and tell them how much you love them.... :)

Sneak Peek "J"

Yup...another Senior :) I have definitely been busy lately with seniors...but they are a lot of fun. They all have such a unique and individual style and that is what is so fun about photographing them. I hope to capture the "true essence" of their personalities.
Here is a few from my most recent session.

More "M"

Just thought I'd share a few more of "M's" senior pics. Doesn't she have absolutely gorgeous eyes!! I think I said that in the first post but wow...they are just amazing!!
There are lots of proofs coming your way very soon my dear :)

I told her when we did these ones...you didn't know you were going rock climbing today did you? LOL. She was such a trooper, it was cold and she was willing to go anywhere I asked her for the perfect picture :) Thanks "M" it was a pleasure taking your senior pictures!!

Tag I am It...

I have recently been tagged by my very good photography friend Megan Peck to tell 8 things about myself that you all might not know...
Well that shouldn't be too hard right, because anyone that knows me well...knows I am a pretty private person...hey does that count as 1? LOL

2. I was a florist before my venture into photography, so I guess you could say my love has always been in the arts of some sort.

3. I am not a big sweets person, don't really like cakes, pie, ice cream etc....

4. I play the saxophone in our church praise band. I love music, I think it is very important. I took piano lessons up until high school and wish I would have continued on with them. I hope my kids want to pursue music of some sort in their life, I think it really enriches ones life.

5. I hate roller coasters, scared to death of them. Not real fond of flying or boats either....yeah I am a bit scaredy cat...LOL

6. I LOVE fall!! It is my favorite time of year. The smell, the crisp feel, the glorious colors, I just LOVE it!!

7. I love purses!! Have since I was a little girl. Especially the big ones that carry your whole life with you....LOL.

8. I do not like to cook, I think it's because I just am no good at it, maybe Megan you can come here some time and visit and give me lessons...ha ha!! I need some serious help!!!!!

Okay, I did it :) Now you all know a little more about me and how weird I am...he he!!

Sneak Peek for "M"

Seniors Seniors...yes it is definitely that time of year :) Here are a few from a session I did over the weekend. It was a bit cold but "M" was a trooper and we got lots of great pics :)
This first one is one of my very favs...I knew when I was taking it it was going to be special, the light was hitting her just perfectly, I have to laugh, she probably thought I was nuts, I said...don't move, the light is perfect...just gorgeous and that it is!! I have a couple versions of this picture because I took several but today will share this one.

This...well, we were both laughing so hard I'm surprised I got a picture (she knows why) but sure am glad I did because I love how it turned out :)

And I have to say....look at those eyes!! Amazing girl!!

Okay...this is the very first picture I took, she didn't even know I took it. Sometimes those make for some very artsy pictures and some cool one and I love it. I was getting my camera setting ready to start, she was looking down and waiting and here ya go....a beautiful piece of art :)

Christmas Cards are here!!!

I know I know, no one wants to be thinking of Christmas but it will be here before we know it and I have been shopping for some fun new designs for my Christmas card templates this year. I have found some great designers and I am excited to start showing you the things I've found. The cards come in a variety of sizes, 5x7 is the most standard, but there is also 4x6, 4x8, and also folded greeting cards. Here are a few samples of the cards I will be carrying and if you would like to see more and the pricing you can visit my online proofing gallery and go to the Christmas Card Album http://hayleyhamlinphotography.zenfolio.com/ I have a few in there right now and will be adding more later. Also...Thanks to some of my most recent clients, your pictures made the perfect additions to these Gorgeous cards!! You know who you are :)

The wind worked for us in this shot. We fought the wind all day, stopping many times to wait till it would stop blowing but here I love how it caught her hair....
